The gang at Proenza Schouler are preparing a safari for the holiday season. The Resort 2012 collection created by Lázaro Hernández and Jack McCollough is made up of some very chic, structured explorer outfits.
The fall color palette features mustard, deep red and army green. White decorates some minidresses, including one sporty one featuring blocks of color, and another shirt dress worn with a big ethnic necklace. The jewelry is the only accessory that screams adventure: the brand have adorned thick textiles with sophisticated shoes and belts and small PS11 bags with straight lines, metallic details and bright leathers.
Model Julia Nobis poses in front of a brick wall wearing the resort line by the New York brand, who look like they're going to open a store on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in the coming months. Cotton, leather and silk combine to create a texture-rich patchwork, with some surrealist graphic prints inspired by nature.
